GNC Engineers (Guidance, Navigation and Control)
Building cutting edge weapon systems is a great responsibility, ensuring their precision is paramount. The systems engineers on our Guidance, Navigation & Control team help design, build, implement and test the systems that put our products on target with performance analysis, simulation modeling, algorithm development and embedded system programming.

Electrical Engineers
Our Electrical Engineering team builds the most critical components for virtually every product in our portfolio. We have a top notch team of Circuit Designers, Electro-Mechanical Packaging Engineers and Power System Engineers. We breathe the electrical life into world class products for national defense.

Embedded Software Engineers
Our Software Engineering teams build the digital brains of our products to include target detection and tracking, image processing, GNC (guidance, navigation and control), and systems communications. If you have an analytical mind for algorithms and a passion for watching your code come to life in cutting edge missile defense, tactical weapon, or fire control technology, then an Embedded Software Engineer role may an excellent career.

Mechanical Engineers
Our Mechanical Engineering team produces world class products ranging from precise gimbal and gyroscope rigs for our fire control systems to propulsion systems for hypersonic, air breathing and solid rocket propulsion systems. We are literally working on rocket science and pushing the envelope to project power faster and further across the globe.

FPGA Engineers
If you have a passion around field programmable gate arrays from requirements development to the test bench consider joining our Electrical Engineering team as an FPGA Design Engineer. FPGA code development plays a critical role in systems integration of our most critical and mainstay product lines and Lockheed Martin is one of the top employers of FPGA talent in the industry.

Systems Integration and Test Engineers (SI&T)
At Lockheed Martin, Missiles and Fire Control we design, build and deliver integrated complex weapons systems to include the missiles, launchers, vehicles, targeting systems and sensors. SI&T Engineering ensures these systems meet their contracted capabilities. SI&T designs and builds precise test systems that exceed the capabilities of the units under test in order to ensure the product requirements are met or exceeded. These test systems are developed for components through system levels. SI&T test systems ensures MFC's products continue to provide the industry leading live fire and demonstration success rate. If you want a challenging, diverse and rewarding career this is the place for you.

RF Engineers
As one of the nation's premiere employers of Radio Frequency (RF) talent, the Missiles and Fire Control team offers career opportunities in a wide range of RF fields including high power Microwave, Seeker Simulation, Anti-Radiation Homing & Detection and Directed Energy. If you are interested in working on cutting edge national defense programs designing, developing, building and testing complex RF systems on precision products our RF team would like to talk with you.

Signal and Processing Engineers
The most capable projectile is useless without the ability to find its target. Our Signal & Processing Engineers are prototyping the more cutting edge fire control radar systems to detect, target and eliminate threats. If you have experience with digital signal processing and radar simulation this key role in our Systems Engineering team may be on your wavelength.

Logistics and Sustainment Engineers
At Missiles & Fire Control our LSE team is responsible for product support and fields operations ensuring our products are safe, reliable and proven for our customers. We employ a high caliber team of Safety Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Maintainability Engineers and Field Support staff who travel the globe supporting our products.

Systems Engineers
Taking top level customer ideas, and turning those ideas into executable parts and designs, and then ensuring those designs come back together into an integrated whole, is the challenge for the System Engineer. Defining robust architectures, capable of delivering high performance, while being affordable and expandable is easier said than done. If you have experience working with System design, decomposition, architectures, and product management, we have some of the most challenging system problems.

Systems Security (Cyber Security) Engineering
The world is more connected, and in many ways that is good, but in others that is bad. Expanding our weapon systems capabilities often can add new cyber vulnerabilities, and the threat is real, and ensuring their security is paramount. The systems security engineers on our engineering team analyze the Cyber Kill Chain® to help safeguard, implement and test defenses and countermeasures against these growing threats. If you are interested in defending, or exploiting, embedded systems, we are interested in talking with you.
